Give to AAWGT
Spring Open House & Photography ExhibitWednesday, April 11, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Annapolis Maritime Museum, 723 Second Street (in Eastport)
Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with friends – old and new – at our annual Spring Open House. This year, we will celebrate our work with an AAWGT-inspired photography exhibit.
Sharing Our Vision - Stories of Giving through the Eyes of our Youth tells the stories of several AAWGT grantees in words and pictures created by Annapolis High School Students. This project was borne out of a partnership between AAWGT and VisionWorkshops, with the support of the ESOL Department at Annapolis High School. ESOL students worked as both photographers and writers, alongside students from the school’s International Baccalaureate program. The result is a creative, authentic view of our grantees, as seen through the camera’s lens and the perspectives of young people in our community. We hope you will take advantage of this unique opportunity to introduce your friends to our giving circle and the important work we do!

ANNE ARUNDEL WOMEN GIVING TOGETHER Anne Arundel Women Giving Together (AAWGT), a women’s giving circle, is celebrating six years of making a difference in the lives of women and families in our community. AAWGT, a fund of the Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County, was created in late 2005 by a small group of women philanthropists and leaders and has since grown to 190+ members. When we complete our sixth round of grantmaking in July 2012, we will have contributed more than $400,000 to area nonprofits. To learn more, visit our website at givingtogether.org.
